How My Boho Recovery Led Me to This Moment

How My Boho Recovery Led Me to This Moment

Updated: Sep 25

From recovery to creation

There is something powerful about looking back and realizing that the messy, unexpected parts of life were quietly leading you somewhere meaningful.

My recovery has not been a straight line. It has been honest, imperfect, and full of small moments that asked me to slow down, stay present, and choose creation over destruction.

Somewhere along the way, I found my way to a boho world of earthy textures, raw edges, warm colours, and handmade pieces that feel like they have a story to tell.

I am not who I was. I am becoming who I was meant to be.

That journey led me to resin. What started as curiosity became a place to pour out emotion, experiment with color, and turn chaos into something I could hold in my hands. Every piece I make carries a little of that transformation: the rough edges, the unexpected details, and the reminder that beauty does not have to be perfect to be real.

This moment feels bigger than a finished piece. It is proof that recovery can make room for imagination. It is permission to begin again, to follow the ideas that arrive at odd hours, and to let handmade work reflect the life behind it.

A little chaos, a lot of intention

So this is where I am today: creating with intention, embracing the boho beauty of the unfinished, and celebrating the fact that healing can lead somewhere wonderfully unexpected.

Thank you for being here while I turn rage into resin, recovery into art, and life’s messy moments into keepsakes.

If you have an idea for a custom piece, I would love to hear it. The best creations often begin with a conversation.

“A little broken, a little boho, and still becoming.”

With love and a little chaos,

Hilary
